Volunteer

Ames Public Library values the incredible work our volunteers do for us. Annually, over 500 volunteers donate almost 17,000 hours of service to the Library. That level of support is vital to our success and our ability to meet our community’s needs.

If you're interested in volunteering for the Library, please contact Sarah Bohlke at 239-5663 or sbohlke@amespubliclibrary.org for information on the application process.
